Affinity Group

The First Generation Affinity Group pushes for an improved distribution of resources to combat inequities first- and second-generation college students face, and provide more education to students about various career pathways, as well as destigmatizing postsecondary education that deviates from the 4-year university norm.

The Guidebook project for first-generation students is a researched comprehensive guide with fundamental information about standardized testing, extracurricular expectations, college admissions and applications, important vocabulary, and much more! An abundance of important info will be accessible to students and families all in one place.
