Immigrants and Culture

As many immigrants and immigrant children are also people of color, the goal of this project is to have teachers encourage students to use other skin tone colors and not refer to the two “standard” colors of brown and peach as their only options in art projects, because representation matters. To achieve this, we are in progress to distribute multi-skin colored crayons to ISD elementary schools.
