Counselors are an in-school resource and can connect your teachers and general staff for aid in your individual situation. Below are ways to have your teachers and school aware and supportive of your situation to ensure ease in your academic career. This may also help connect you to in-school aid.
District counselors design and deliver services directly to, and indirectly for, ISD students to address academic, personal/social, and college/career needs based on national mindset and behavioral standards.
This department can provide students experiencing homelessness with transportation, enrollment, and other rights protected under the McKinney-Vento Act.
